This weekend we will be traveling to visit Tim’s family. This means that I get to take over someone else’s kitchen. We will have a large group so we will be making the “full on spread.”
We will be having Brisket, Smoked Salmon, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Pinto Beans, Parker House Rolls, Beer and Bacon Pecan Bars and, for breakfast on Saturday, Buttermilk Biscuits with Sausage Gravy.
If there was ever any doubt that I’m from the South…this menu should take care of that. We will be feasting on Southern comfort foods this weekend.
